Welcome to the Hook Players website.
We are a small and enthusiastic amateur drama group dedicated to the production of plays, pantomimes and revues for the general public.
The group is based at the Elizabeth Hall, Hook, Hampshire and is affiliated to the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA).

The sequel to our inaugural production, A Tomb WIth A View, is this comedy thriller from Norman Robbins, Tiptoe Through The Tombstones.This will be our first production in the new Elizabeth Hall and we hope to see you in November. [more details]

Formed in 1986, the group have produced a wide range of plays, comedies, thrillers, light drama and pantomimes. All the production and staging is carried out by members of the group that involves a wide range of activities including set design and building, lighting, sound, costume design and dressmaking, make-up and stage management.
The group meet Tuesdays and Thursdays except from May to August, producing two plays a year, each having a ten-week rehearsal schedule.
We also have a full social calendar, with activities approximately once a month, ranging from quiz nights to skittles.
We are always pleased to welcome new members. Hook players is open to anyone over the age of 16 with an interest in amateur theatre. Whether it be on stage or back stage, there is always a wide range of jobs for all.
